Ivan Terestchenko

”Surfing is the closest thing, today, to chivalry. You have the outfits, the king and knights, the paddle out ritual when a surfer dies. It is not a sport. It is a way of life, and a dance with the wave.”

Ivan Terestchenko has been a professional photographer for over twenty years, taking photographs for most of the high profile fashion magazines and books. He has portaited fashionistas, designers and artists such as Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, and he started surfing when most people stop, at the age of fifty.
